Each deity in hinduism stands for an personification of certain attributes. By associating with that deity we are trying to manifest that characteristics within us. In some parts of India Sri Ganesha is not married but a Brahmachari. But in other parts of the country he has two wives buddi and siddi, these two are attributes personified as his two wives in that particular regional folklore. By worshiping Him you get both the blessings of buddhi and siddi. Which means you develop those characteristics. This is what makes hinduism dynamic. Different versions caterring to the needs of different people, based on their spiritual evolution. Unlike One Book - One Religion, where one standard size shirt is tried to fit for all, irrespective of their needs.

Hi there, Dharma speaks ummm l have been watching your channel and videos very frequently and for years. But I point this out because l feel like your spiritual teachings are true and this is coming from a Christian (well kinda) who believes in all religions, (especially hinduism and Jainism). Which I think am I honest opinion are are marvelous in teaches the true nature of God in essence and devotion. I'm also the one who believes in reincarnation that you have multiple lives in fact the first century Christians believe in reincarnation, and even Jesus probably believes in reincarnation. What happens after the 7 lives are lived up? Are you saying there's no concept of Heaven and Hell in Hinduism? Where are the monkey / bear humans now? Or the Rakshasas? So Shiva is living in the Everest. All the stories revolve around the land of Bharat, there's no people mentioned in the puranas that are non-hindus. There are so many things that can be considered a far stretch to consider the religion as pure truth from God. And what would you consider similar pagan belief systems like the Greek mythology? I think these teachings are very profound and enlightening. I am a Christian and I have been studying the beliefs of the gnostics. And I believe the gnostic teachings are true. And I believe that the teachings discussed in the Bahram Gita are similar, maybe even connected. I see a path forward where we will all be connected and united one day.

According to the Mahabharata and the Vayu Purana 2.2.10 the castes were invented in Dvaparayuga by Prithu (an incarnation of Vishnu) through the invention of agriculture. This is confirmed by Bhagavad Gita 4, 3 according to which Krishna invented the castes. This means: the first caste were the Vaishyas and their connection with the birth was because of the land property of the Vaishyas. At that time the offerings were made by the householder and his wife at the oven of the house. This means, there was no Brahmin caste at this time. According to Jaiminya Brahmana it was invented later (after the defeat of the Daityas by the Devas) because of the errors of the rites (which is a lie of the Brahmins). This also explains why the second caste is called Rajanjas (rulers) in Rigveda 10.90.12 which could only mean that there was no Kshatrya (warrior) caste at that time. That's the reason why according to Mahabharata 3.180.21 and 3.206.33 - 37 Brahmins are not defined by birth but by action. Because of this Khandogya Upanishad 4, 41 - 45 calls a bastard son with unknown father never mind "Brahmin".
